A contingent of scouts left Tuesday, July 18, from Madison for the National Scout Jamboree in West Virginia, including five boys from Troop 47 in Sun Prairie.

A total of 24 boys, four girls and six adults boarded a Badger Bus for a unique adventure. They stopped for an overnight stay in Indiana and arrived at Summit Bechtel Reserve on Thursday, July 20. They will be part of 15,000 Scouts from around the country at this event. The National Scout Jamboree occurs every 4 years. The Scouts from Troop 47 are Rishab Kotte, Alex Nawrot, Keagan Johnson, Rohan Sharma and Thomas Dobie.
