JAXON HORNBY

Marshall senior Jaxon Hornby placed 29th in the Division 3 boys race in a time of 17 minutes, 12 seconds at the WIAA State Cross Country Championships on Saturday in Wisconsin Rapids.

Back in 2022, Hornby placed 43rd overall in the boys individual state race with a time of 17:43.2. In addition to his prior experience at the event, he had reason to have confidence entering this year’s state meet thanks to his performance in sectionals. He finished fifth overall in his race, earning the second-fastest individual qualifier spot with a time of 17:21.48.
