The Spartans that took the field against Monroe on Friday, Oct. 27 in the level two playoff game were far different than the team that faced the Cheesemakers in week three.
After giving up nearly 500 rushing yards in a 59-7 blowout loss in the regular season, the McFarland football team had Monroe on the ropes in the playoff game.
