Cottage Grove Fire Department 2023 Open House
The Cottage Grove Fire Department hosted their open house on Saturday afternoon, offering lunch along with tours of their trucks, gear demonstrations and other activities.
Firefighter Mitch Strehlow has led event organization for the open house for the past several years.
Five-year-old Coral Emily “Danger” Marks wastes no time for her turn picking up the fire hose, with a Cottage Grove firefighter just behind to help her knock down wooden fire targets. Coral was one a number of young people at the Cottage Grove Fire Department’s open house Oct. 14.
