MILTON-- For most people, driving past a cemetery is nothing notable. If anything, they might remember a loved one who is buried there. Or, at this time of the year, when dried leaves and twigs swirl around gravestones encrusted with decades of dirt and moss, thoughts of spooky stories might pop to mind.

But Julie Marquardt of Milton is not like most people. Marquardt is a gravestone scrubber. She spends copious amounts of time in cemeteries, cleaning stones and letting the stories of people long gone shine through, even if only for a moment.
